Remodels & Additions

Remodels and additions, done right.

Open up the kitchen, add the room, build the porch. We handle remodels and additions the same way we build homes — one crew, start to finish, phone answered.

What we take on

Remodeled white kitchen with a large island, shaker cabinets and pendant lights
Kitchen with a new island and full cabinetry
  • Kitchens — layout changes, islands, cabinetry, tile and lighting.
  • Bathrooms — walk-in tiled showers, double vanities, master baths.
  • Room additions — bedrooms, offices, in-law suites and second stories.
  • Porches and decks — covered porches with timber posts, deck additions, outdoor living.
  • Living spaces — opening floor plans, vaulting ceilings, adding windows and light.
  • Finish carpentry — trim, built-ins, mudroom cubbies, closets and shelving.

Improve the home you already have

A well-planned remodel or addition gives you the space, layout and finishes you want without the cost and disruption of moving. C&M Innovations is a licensed and insured general contractor handling residential remodels and additions across the River Valley. With our own framing crew, we take on the structural work — removing walls, adding rooms, tying in new roof lines — as well as the finish carpentry and trim that complete the project.

One crew, demo to trim

The worst part of most remodels isn't the dust — it's the chasing. The tile guy is waiting on the plumber, the plumber's waiting on the electrician, and you're making the calls. As your general contractor, we schedule and manage every trade, and you deal with one phone number. We'll also be straight with you about which weeks the kitchen is down and how we'll keep dust out of the rest of the house.

Seamless additions

A good addition doesn't announce itself. The roof line continues, the siding matches, the floor is level from the old room into the new one. That takes real framing skill — which is what our crew does all day on new custom homes. See a few of our finished interiors to get a feel for the finish level.

Questions

Remodels & Additions FAQ

Can we live in the house during the remodel?

Usually, yes — especially for additions and single-room remodels. We'll talk through how to keep dust and disruption contained and be honest with you about the stretches when a kitchen or bath will be out of commission.

Do you do small jobs?

We're happy to look at porches, decks, single rooms and finish carpentry. Give us a call and describe it; we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit.

Will an addition match the existing house?

That's the whole goal. We tie new framing into the old structure properly, match roof lines and siding, and finish it so it looks like it was always there.

How long does a kitchen or bath remodel take?

It depends on the scope — moving walls and plumbing takes longer than swapping cabinets and tile. We'll give you a realistic schedule up front and keep you updated if anything shifts.

Do you handle everything, or do I need to hire other trades?

We handle it. As the general contractor, we coordinate plumbing, electrical and any other trades so you deal with one crew and one phone number.

Tell us what you'd change about your house.

We'll come look at it, talk through options, and give you a free estimate — with an honest take on what's worth doing.
