Custom Homes

A custom home, built for your family.

From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, one licensed and insured crew carries your home the whole way. We start by listening.

Built the way you actually live

A custom home isn't a floor plan off a website with your name on it. It's the kitchen sized for how your family cooks, the porch that faces the evening light, and the mudroom you'll be grateful for every muddy season. That's what we build.

C&M Innovations is a general contractor in Dardanelle and Russellville, and custom homes are the work we love most. We take a build from bare dirt to move-in day — site prep, foundation, framing, roofing, exterior and interior finish — with one crew responsible for all of it.

It starts with a consultation, not a price

Before we price anything, we sit down together: how many people live in the house, who cooks, whether you host holidays, what you've been saving pictures of. Then we walk your land. Only then does the estimate get built, so the number is real instead of a guess that grows.

What's included when we say start to finish

Cleared and graded home site with the foundation being laid out before the slab pour
Day one: the lot cleared, graded and laid out
  • Site prep and foundation — clearing, grading, pad, slab or footings.
  • Framing — by our own crew, so walls are straight and roof lines are clean. See our framing work.
  • Every trade, scheduled and managed — roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, insulation, drywall. You don't chase subs.
  • Exterior — siding, board-and-batten, stone, metal roofing, porches and timber details.
  • Interior finish-out — flooring, cabinets, tile, paint, doors, trim and built-ins.
  • Final walkthrough — room by room with you, before we hand over the keys.

Why families in the River Valley trust us with their home

Almost every family we meet knows someone who paid a contractor who never finished. Our answer is simple: we're licensed and insured, we communicate constantly, and we don't leave. The crew that pours your slab is the crew that hangs your last door. If you'd like to talk to families we've built for, ask us for references.

Questions

Custom Homes FAQ

How long does a custom home take to build?

It depends on the size of the house, the site, and how quickly decisions get made — but we'll give you a realistic schedule before we start, and we'll tell you the moment anything changes it. What we won't do is promise a date we can't keep.

Do I need plans before I call you?

No. Plenty of families come to us with a Pinterest board and a piece of land. The consultation is where we turn ideas into a plan. If you already have drawings, even better — bring them.

Can I be involved during the build?

Please be. It's your home. We'll walk the job with you at key points, and you're welcome on site anytime — just let us know so we can make sure it's safe to be there.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

As your general contractor, we coordinate the work with the county and the trades so the build moves through inspections in the right order. We'll tell you exactly what's needed for your lot when we meet.

What if I want to change something mid-build?

It happens on nearly every home. Tell us as early as you can — we'll price the change, explain how it affects the schedule, and get your OK in writing before we do it. No surprises on the final bill.

Let's talk about the home you've been picturing.

A free consultation and site visit is where every custom home starts. No pressure, no obligation — just a real conversation about what you want.
